How is the procedure performed?
A local anaesthetic block is given similar to when you go to the dentist. This will numb the area and make the procedure relatively painless. Dr Ostberg will inject the required area to give more shape, bulk and definition to the lip. Depending on the product used, the results may last between three to eight months.

How do I organise treatment?
You will need a consultation with Dr Julie Ostberg who will determine your suitability and explain the procedure in detail to you. Part of your consultation fee may be claimed with medicare. You will then need to book for your treatment at a later date. This treatment will take approximately half an hour to perform.

Cost?
Depending on the type and amount of product used, cost may be anywhere between $360.00 - $660.00

What Side Effects Should I Expect?
An initial amount of swelling and redness will be evident, this will resolve in 24 hours. There may be some bruising which may take 2 -3 days to subside.
