HydraFacials and CoolSculpting
Keep it cool this winter with Victoria’s Cosmedi Spa’s HydraFacial and CoolSculpting. The chilly weather has a way of making us want to snuggle up indoors when in fact, it is the best time to receive beauty treatments. The fact that we spend less time outdoors in the harsh sun means that any skin procedure is a great idea!
How does a HydraFacial work?
A HydraFacial is a serum-based skin resurfacing treatment that is suitable for all skin types and serves to cleanse, hydrate and exfoliate the skin while rejuvenating its overall texture and appearance. This procedure is performed with a vacuum-based skin abrasion tip called a Hydropeel tip which allows the specially formulated serum to the skin. The hydra-dermabrasion combines cleansing. Exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection all in one treatment.
During the procedure, your dead skin cells are removed while serums are applied to the skin to target a range of skin concerns. They also help increase the uptake of antioxidants in the skin when compared to the manual application of creams.
What does a HydraFacial do?
A HydraFacial is an effective treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, congested and large pores, oily or acne-prone skin, hyperpigmentation and brown spots. It is a non-invasive treatment that is suitable for all skin types including those that are sensitive. The aim of the treatment is to improve skin health and achieve a clear, glowing appearance. The best part is that the procedure only takes 30 minutes, has no downtime and results are visible almost immediately. It can quickly improve texture and tone while helping conditions like acne without residual irritation or peeling. There is no pain associated with the treatment either.
Why should I get a facial?
Most people already have their own facial routine but there are often times where they may not be using the correct product for their skin or don’t get the deep clean and nourishment they need. At Victoria’s Cosmedi Spa, we offer a variety of facial treatments, all with the specific aim to help improve the quality of your skin. Each treatment is custom suited to help alleviate any particular problems that your skin type may suffer from as well as deeply exfoliate and moisturise, leaving your skin refreshed and looking younger.
What is CoolSculpting?
If you’re finding that those last little lumps and bumps just won’t go away no matter the amount of exercise and healthy eating you do, CoolSculpting could be the perfect treatment for you! CoolSculpting is the liposuction alternative with no downtime, no needles, and no surgery! As the world’s #1 non-invasive fat-reduction procedure, CoolSculpting technology uses controlled cooling to target fat cells and destroy them. Once destroyed, they will be naturally processed and eliminated through the body. The cost of CoolSculpting will also be depending on the area being treated along with how many sessions are needed. The number of treatments needed will depend on your unique treatment plan so it is best to come in and discuss with a consultant so that you can get an idea of what to expect.
How does CoolSculpting work?
CoolSculpting is a clinically approved treatment which uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts of diet and exercise. This technology targets and crystallises (kills) fat cells and remarkably induces a 25% fat reduction in a single CoolSculpting cycle. Each session is a minimum of 35 minutes, depending on the area treated.
As the cooling process begins, you will feel intense coldness for the first few minutes. This then becomes bearable as the treated area becomes numb and you may even feel some pulling as suction is applied.
Once the procedure is complete, you can expect to begin to see results as quickly as six to eight weeks with the full and final results visible after three months.
